ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

Cause: Unable to locate shared memory realm

Action: Verify that the realm is accessible

Generally this error occurs due to Oracle instance is shutdown and database is not up and running. You need to start your database with setting up accurate environment variables. Without setting environment variable you would get lots of other errors and you won’t get success to get rid of this issue.

Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory

 Generally ORA-27101 error is throwing with some another error like above. There are various reasons behind this error. Most of reason is database is down.

If you would get this error then open support ticket with high priority. During opening ticket provide exact detail of instance name, database name, and server identification. Thus our support engineer is able to take action immediately.
